Founder and CEO
Shelley founded Simplistix® with a clear goal — to bridge the gap between expert financial strategy and the evolving needs of small business owners. As a former bank controller and vice president of finance for a private equity firm, she saw how small businesses often lacked the financial insights essential for long-term success. Determined to change that, Shelley launched Simplistix to deliver tailored financial management solutions that empower small business owners to make informed decisions and focus on what matters most—their business.
Shelley leverages her financial expertise with a collaborative, solutions-driven approach, offering both strategic guidance and hands-on financial management support. A certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, she partners with business owners and their CPAs to develop seamless financial processes that foster financial clarity, efficiency and greater financial control. Shelley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan, blending analytical precision with creative problem-solving that gets to the story behind the numbers.
Movement and balance are essential to Shelley’s approach to both work and life. As a dedicated Pilates instructor and practitioner, she brings focus and energy to every client relationship, helping small business owners navigate their financial journey with confidence.
